Hans and Ineke included NDT in their will
Driven by their deep connection to NDT, Hans and Ineke have made a special decision: they have included the company in their will. In doing so, they are passing on their passion and making a conscious investment in the future of dance. Their wish is simple: “That many people will continue to enjoy NDT long after we are gone.”
For Hans Schriel and Ineke Roodenburg, the impact of dance is deeply personal. As devoted supporters, they have seen how performances by Nederlands Dans Theater can have a healing effect; art that “speaks directly to the heart”.
NDT is a “warm bath” for them: a place of connection, innovation, and artistic courage. Each season, they attend as many as 50 dance performances, half of which are by NDT. They prefer to follow the entire journey, from the dress rehearsal to the final performance, to witness the evolution of a work.
“We decided to leave a legacy gift to NDT because we want as many people as possible to experience the magical power of its performances long after we are gone.”
