NDT x Eastpak: A journey in motion
We are proud to announce a partnership between NDT and Eastpak. Together we are exploring movement, travel, and personal expression through the lens of its Resist’r collection.

A shared language: movement and journey
At the heart of the project lies a natural alignment between Eastpak and NDT: both builton movement, resilience, and individuality. For professional dancers, travel is notoccasional, it is a way of life. Their suitcase becomes something constant following themfrom one space, one stage, one city to the next.
Rooted in the idea that travel is not just a destination but a continuous state of becoming, the collaboration begins with three individual journeys of NDT-1 dancers: PalomaLassère, Nicole Ishimaru, and Ricardo Hartley before unfolding into a shared experience.Together, they offer an intimate portrait of life in motion where discipline, vulnerability, and creativity intersect.
An intimate, human narrative
Captured in a restrained and thoughtful visual language, the project moves beyondperformance, the campaign captures the dancers in a state of quiet intensity. Thestorytelling moves beyond performance to explore identity, personal growth, and theunseen layers behind a dancer’s life.
Each dancer brings a unique perspective:
- Nicole reflects on dance as a process of self-discovery, where ‘dance didn’t shape my life, it exposed me.’
- Paloma speaks to discipline and transformation, describing how dance ‘taught her responsibility and to never give up.’
- Ricardo shares how the art form opened unforeseen possibilities, pushing him to think beyond what he imagined.
Distinct paths, perspectives, and experiences—gradually coming together within thestructure of NDT, where individuality is not erased, but held in balance with the collective.
The suitcase as a symbol
Central to the project is the presence of the suitcase no longer just functional, butsomething that quietly follows each transition. Over time, it begins to gather more than what is visible.
With every journey, layers accumulate. Traces of places, routines, departures and returns. What is carried becomes inseparable from the experience itself.
For the dancers, it exists somewhere between object and extension of self—moving with them through shifting environments, holding fragments of a life constantly in motion.
